Mystic Raven Oracle + Tarot Card Stand

Mystic Raven Oracle + Tarot Card Stand

$19.00

In Norse mythology, a pair of ravens named Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory) would fly all over the world and bring back information to Odin the Allfather by perching on his shoulders and telling him everything they saw and heard in their travels.

Ravens are intelligent birds in the Corvid family who form societies, remember faces, and in some cases can mimic human language; their association with Odin, who was revered for wisdom, speechcraft and intuitive vision, has many archeological sources and persists to this day.

This card stand encapsulates the mystical power of Ravens (or any Corvid), as well as the Norse god Odin, and calls their magic into your space. Use it to display your ritual Tarot or Oracle card pulls, to make offerings to Odin, and/or to ask for assistance in your spiritual practice.

In addition to Tarot + Oracle cards, candles in containers, crystals, herbs, jewelry, runes, and other sacred objects may be placed upon your card stand to absorb the essence of Raven, Corvids, and/or Odin the Allfather.

Each card stand is made-to-order and is available in your choice of wood: Maple, Cherry, or Walnut.

  • About Odin:

    • In Norse mythology, the Aesir were a tribe of powerful gods and goddesses who ruled the cosmos from Asgard, the highest of the nine realms. The Aesir were known to grant their gifts and blessings to those who invoked their powers by name.

    • Odin the Allfather was considered the warchief, or leader, of the Aesir. Odin was responsible for bringing knowledge of important aspects of Norse culture, including the brewing of mead and the knowledge of runes, to both the Aesir and to Midgard, the realm where humans dwell (aka Earth).

    • Call upon Odin for all things related to strength, intelligence, and wisdom, including scholarly pursuits, homebrewing, self-confidence, and literary crafts like poetry.
